Friday, May 26, 2006, @ 9:43 AM Learning Journeys My class went for learning journey during the last two days, which was yesterday and today, of schooling before June holidays starts. On Wednesday, which was yesterday, the sec two cohort, went to Botanic Garden to feed mosquitoes(kidding), was actually learn more about the nature. We also had worksheet regarding Botanic Garden, teacher went through with us the answers and have picnic. Though the weather was hot and had to feed mosquitoes, overall was fun. Top->(from left) Faith, Celestine, Xin Min Middle->(from left) Me, Yi Miao, Zhi Ler, Shi Ling, Felicia, Jessica Bottom-> Selina Today, another learning journey. The sec two cohort went to the Frog Farm and Diary Farm. My class first went to the Frog Farm, followed by the Diary Farm. In the Frog Farm, we learnt how to differentiate which is male and female frog. Is by seeing the colour of the frog. If the frog is colourful, it is a male frog and if the frog is not so colourful, it is a female frog. We also saw how a frog is been slaughter. First chop the frog's head, the peel the skin off, then take out all the guts and organs. (Scary? I don't think so leh...) [The pic is the frog's head been chop off... So sorry if u ppl scare...] Bodyless frog [Can't show u guys the video... Don't know how to put... (lol)] After the Frog Farm, we went to the Diary Farm. We saw how the cows were been milked (both by man and machines). We were also allowed to feed the cows. The farm STINKs!!! Can't smell an fresh air!!!It's fun to go to farms, larning more about the creatures... Hope u ppl can visit them one day too... my bottled up thoughts ♥ @ 9:43 AM
